The Y33 series, the ninth generation Cedric and the tenth generation Gloria, was introduced in June 1995 after a full model change of the previous Y32 series. It became a new luxury car with a more personal touch, with advanced maneuverability and safety, where the owner could enjoy "the joy of driving as you wish" by holding the steering wheel.
